Skiing is an open-air sport and proven to be healthy! You are out in the fresh mountain air, get a good supply of vitamin D and are on the move a lot. Especially after the restrictions of the last few months, a stay in the mountains is not only good for the body, but also enhances mental strength. We are looking forward to a great winter in safety with you!
Skiing safely with the distance! The Ski School Toni Gruber strives to offer all guests safe and relaxed lessons, especially with regard to the current Covid-19 situation. In cooperation with the Austrian Ministry of Health and the National Ski Instructors Association, practical guidance and recommendations have been compiled in order to get us well and above all safely through these times!
Distance – with a fitting layout of our children's adventure areas and meeting points, we ensure that the recommended distances ("baby elephant") can be maintained. Should it not be possible to keep the minimum distance (1m, for example in case of absolutely necessary assistance during lessons or in case of falls, etc.), our employees as well as our guests wear a mouth and nose protection. Children up to the age of 6 years are excluded. All of our ski students will be given a bandana as mouth-nose-protection free of charge!
Online bookings - we recommend booking courses online. You can print out the tickets and bring them directly to the meeting point. Of course you can reach us in our ski school offices, we have also made the necessary provisions there.
Group size - in order to comply with the distance rules, we teach in small groups.
Cable cars - when using cable cars, the regulations of the cable car companies must be observed. Our staff will be happy to inform and help you.
Employee training - of course all our employees are trained and instructed with regards to Corona safety measures according to uniform guidelines and regulations.
Premises - all premises of our ski school (children's areas, offices, etc.) are disinfected and cleaned several times a day, as are teaching materials, aids, toys, etc.
Corona testing - ski instructors arriving from abroad have to show a negative SARS-COV2 test upon arrival. We are also planning regular testing of our employees.
